Channel App

“Channel App” is a new concept of EPG (Electronic Program Guide) for Samsung Smart TV. In the past, EPG used to be designed with only text but this is designed with visual elements like thumbnails that can be helpful to provide accurate information to users. Not only that but also this provides users abundant viewing experience through a content recommendation based on the history of user’s viewing.

Users can search what they want to watch through various search filter functions involving channel, genre, and time and It makes users enjoy watching TV conveniently.

What I did

• Designed 40 genre thumbnails with third-party designers.
• Set initial design concepts and suggested UI wireframe for solving design problems.
• Designed all of the visual design & visual interaction.
