One of them was “Soccer panel” and this was serviced only for Latin America which was held 2014 Brazil World Cup. "Soccer panel” is a soccer-related service that allows the user to view soccer information on a smart TV. It consists of five sub-categories – Videos, News, Matchups, Ranking, and Edit Teams. Before a soccer match, the user can go to the appropriate panel and view news and videos about the match. After the end of the match or if the user missed the match, the user can check the match results using the Matchups category. The user can check league rankings of the team he/she is rooting for by accessing the Ranking category. The user can set several preferred teams for content filtering on the panel. This is very handy when users do yoga or any kind of exercise in front of the TV. Thus users can enjoy an exercise in their own place. One of the other interesting features in this app is a “Gesticon” which stands for gesture and emoticon.  If user poses like thumbs up, the camera above the TV can detect it and shows up the thumbs-up emoticon on the TV screen. Using the Tweet Live function, the user can search for and view the TV program’s tweet. Although it is remarkable that the younger generation is moving away from the TV, it is still a powerful source of information. Communication on social media is also impressions or reactions to information and it is indeed the exchange of information itself. This application makes a TV function as a communication tool and shows a new way to use existing media and demonstrates another social media usage style at home. Users can use the internet by using this. Because TV is a typical media that has lean-back user experience and is controlled by 4-way remote control, it’s very different from the mobile which is controlled by touch interaction. We have considered the characteristic of TV and have tried to provide convenient usability to users. What I did Improved the design based on 1.0 version. In the past, EPG used to be designed with only text but this is designed with visual elements like thumbnails that can be helpful to provide accurate information to users. Not only that but also this provides users abundant viewing experience through a content recommendation based on the history of user’s viewing. Users can search what they want to watch through various search filter functions involving channel, genre, and time and It makes users enjoy watching TV conveniently. It encourages the child to take continuous interest in the content by providing various stickers as a reward. Parents can also manage their child’s TV-viewing experience by viewing history records and using the alarm function. The TV is the biggest display in the living room and can be easily enjoyed together by all family members. In line with this characteristic of the TV, our team designed a TV application that guides children to enjoy safe content, protecting them from harmful content. It encourages parent-child communication and enables use of diverse content in an easy and interesting way.
